Soft Trails

Perfect For a Workout

Soft trails are perfect for many workouts including mountain biking, trail running or a relaxing hike. Being in nature not only has physical benefits but can provide mental benefits. The outdoors can help reduce stress, lower depression and lessen anxiety. So tackle the trails with a partner, sibling, child, coworker, friend, etc. to build on your relationship and bring you closer together.

Trails are marked with signs, to help you find the trail you want and serve as the gateway to hidden, picturesque routes throughout the Cedar Valley.

The Cedar Valley Association for Soft Trails (CVAST) is a state of Iowa non profit dedicated to soft trails located in the Cedar Valley. CVAST goal is to promote, maintain, and create sustainable soft trails in the area for users of all types and abilities.
