George Wyth State Park is located on the Cedar River and has 4 lakes including George, Alice, Brinker and Fisher. There is 5.5 miles of paved multiuse trail and over 15 different soft trails that provide extraordinary views of nature and wildlife.
These off road trails are used for biking, hiking, running, skiing and wildlife viewing throughout George Wyth State Park. On the other side of the Cedar river lies Hartman Reserve which is connected to George Wyth State Park by a paved trail. Hartman Reserve has more than 10 soft trails and has a nature center located within the reserve.
Since the George Wyth State Park is in the Cedar River flood plain the trails are mostly flat with many curves.
Many of the parking lots have access to the off-road trails or the paved trails.
