Cedar Valley Lakes Trail

The Cedar Valley Lakes Trail is a concrete/asphalt trail connecting Black Hawk Park north of Cedar Falls to Evansdale and passing through George Wyth State Park and downtown Waterloo. The longest single trail in the area, at over 16 miles, this scenic trail includes views of the Cedar River along urban settings and through parks with shaded trails and quiet neighborhoods.

The trail also passes by the lakes in George Wyth State Park. There are several self-service bicycle repair stations along the route. There are also convenient bicycle shops in both downtown Waterloo and Cedar Falls near the trail.

At its southeastern end, it ultimately connects to the Cedar Valley Nature Trail.

Cedar Valley Lakes Trail

The longest trail in the Cedar Valley Trails System, this trail stretches between Black Hawk Park in North Cedar Falls all the way to Evansdale, connecting with the Cedar Valley Nature Trail.
