Park Avenue Bike Lane

The Park Avenue Bike Lanes are used by bicycles to cross the Cedar River in Downtown Waterloo. These bike lanes take you to several outdoor entertainment venues.

On the East end of the trail is Lincoln Park and on the West side of the Cedar River is the RiverLoop Amphitheatre & Expo Plaza.

There is also Washington Park, and the Sullivan Brothers Iowa Veterans Museum & Grout Museum of History & Science.

The bike lane connects to the South Riverside Trail on the south side of the river and the Cedar Valley Lakes Trail on the north.

Connecting Trails

18th Street – Waterloo

18th Street Trail is a short trail connecting the Cedar Valley Lakes Trail, Riverview Recreation Trail, and the 218 Trail.

218 Trail

Named for the U.S. Highway that the trail follows, the 218 Trail forms a very important connection in the trail network.

Cedar Valley Lakes Trail

The trail runs from Black Hawk Park in northern Cedar Falls, through Waterloo, all the way to the Cedar Valley Nature Trail.
